The line-up for A Day On The Green (ADOTG) at Wahgunyah's All Saints Estate is being described as arguably the best yet.
Song writing icons Neil Finn and Paul Kelly will headline the event which also includes Mark Seymour and his band The Undertow along with local and ABC Goulburn Murray (ABC GM) favourite, Lisa Mitchell.
Long before being discovered by Australian Idol and Triple J audiences, ABC GM listeners knew of Ms Mitchell sweet, soulful sound.
The UK born, Albury raised artist has appeared several times on ABC GM's Open Mic sessions.
Mitchell's guitar teacher Tim Hancock suggested her for the acoustic session saying she was a natural who would be able to memorise the audience.
The Scots school student was just 15 years old, she came in with her guitar and a note book full of songs she composed herself.
The ABC team recalls the demure songstress stealing the show from the moment the mic was on.
Lisa Mitchell and her band will take to the ADOTG stage first tomorrow.
